Carting in London
Dear Fighter,
it has been a long time since I went carting. The place was hard to find ;-) but the track was not too exciting. We were racing with a couple other people but all were no match for me. ;-)
Here we are in the briefing room.

Before us were a couple of kids, real small and cute....

No pic from the race, but here are the results....

Just to make this clear, I won!

Yes, as indicated above, I was also the fastest of the day! Check out the detailed lap results below!

Here are Lucinda's results. Not bad for a girl who did it for the first time.

Keep Fightin,
Jochen

Sikh on Motorcycle
Dear Fighter,
tonight, while driving back from an excellent dinner I had the chance to witness another mystery. I drove past a Sikh on a motorcycle and he was not wearing a helmet. Of course, Sikh are not allowed to take their turban off. This get me thinking, does the law, which by the way stipulates that a Sikh may keep their turban on during security control at the airports, recognize a religous superpower wich enables the turban to protect its wearer?
And yes, it does! My research found the following link: SikhWiki
Don't get me wrong, I respect the decision to honor a religous belief. But what I don't understand is that I may not ride without a helmet (or may not wear a seat belt). I am not putting anyone in danger (besides myself) whilst not wearing a helmet or seat belt.
Why do I have to comply whilst other get exemptions from the law?
